Dr. Tina Grove

Veterinarian

Dr. Tina Grove has pursued her passion for veterinary medicine since an early age. She began her training in a small animal clinic during her college years and later gained experience at a large animal hospital specialty clinic before entering veterinary school. Dr. Grove graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, earning both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Master’s degree in Laboratory Animal Medicine. She completed her formal residency training at Yale University in 2012 and achieved specialty board certification in 2013.

Dr. Grove’s professional interests include caring for exotic pets, particularly nonhuman primates, and advancing biomedical research to improve the health of both animals and humans. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of settings, including academic institutions, corporate environments, and companion animal private practices, both full-time and in a relief capacity.

At home, Dr. Grove and her husband are proud guardians of a diverse group of animals, including four dogs, two cats, two birds, ten chickens, two snakes, and two horses.

Erica

Certified Veterinary Technician

Erica is a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply passionate about animal health, patient advocacy, and providing exceptional care to pets while offering compassion and support to their families. Known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals, Erica is committed to creating a positive and comforting experience for both patients and their pet parents.

Her passion for veterinary medicine extends far beyond the workplace. As the proud pet parent of five Great Danes and one Miniature Dachshund, Erica understands firsthand the deep bond between families and their pets. Her personal and professional experiences continue to fuel her dedication to delivering the highest standard of veterinary care and treating every animal as if it were her own.

Holly Parsons

Veterinary Technician

Holly moved to St. Augustine in 1995. She spent her career in business and later found her passion in Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Animal Wellness team in 2019 and has enjoyed getting to know all the animals and their humans! Holly completed pet nutrition training through NAVC and is a certified Pet Nutrition and Therapeutic Nutrition Coach. She has also completed and received her certificate in K9s Emergency care which focuses on the assessment and treatment of operational K9s in medical and traumatic emergencies.

Holly enjoys the outdoors. In her downtime, you will likely find her at the beach, hiking or bird watching with her dog, Coach.

Michaela Lowery

Veterinary Technician

Michaela was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She excels at every aspect of her job, and our pet parents can always count on her to show love and compassion to their kids while under her care. Michaela shares her life with her two Great Danes, Dahlia & Lucas, a skunk named Ms. Musty, and two cats named Tito & Spicy. During her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs and exploring new places.

Denise Stamps

Receptionist

Denise is a dedicated veterinary receptionist with nearly 30 years of experience in the veterinary field, having started her career in 1995. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both patient care and client service. Denise truly enjoys her work at the front desk and is passionate about creating a welcoming, positive experience for every client and their pets.

Outside of the clinic, Denise stays busy with her two Basset Hounds and a Frenchie mix, who keep her life full of energy and entertainment.
