He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982 from Kansas State University. He practiced for three years in Kansas City before becoming associated with CareVet of Belmont in 1985. Dr. Haug and his wife, Karen, have six children and four dogs. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, and being involved with his church.\r\n<\/p>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"vetcontainer fullwidth flex--row vert__padding--sm\">\r\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/401\/2021\/10\/dr-kenneth-mcfarland.jpg\" \/>\r\n                    <div>\r\n                        <h2 class=\"margin--none\">Dr. Kenneth McFarland<\/h2>\r\n                        <h3 class=\"margin--none\">Veterinarian<\/h3>\r\n                        <p>Dr. McFarland was born in Grand Island, Nebraska. He graduated in 2014 from the University of Nebraska \u2013 Lincoln with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Animal Science. He was then accepted in the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine shared by UNL and Iowa State University. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. McFarland started as a kennel staff member with Belmont Vet in 2012 climbing the ladder until he became a veterinarian.\r\n<\/p>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n                <div class=\"vetcontainer fullwidth flex--row vert__padding--sm\">\r\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/401\/2023\/06\/DrOconnor.jpeg\" \/>\r\n                    <div>\r\n                        <h2 class=\"margin--none\">Dr. Allison O'Connor<\/h2>\r\n                        <h3 class=\"margin--none\">Veterinarian<\/h3>\r\n                        <p>Dr. Alley O\u2019Connor is excited to join the CareVet of Belmont team and is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska! She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln\/Iowa State 2+2 Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and has practiced small animal and emergency medicine in Kentucky and Wisconsin.  In addition to her full-time position, Dr. O\u2019Connor worked with and treated the local PetSmart animals in Richmond, KY, treated and worked with the Kentucky Police Dogs, and was President of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association.  She looks forward to being active and involved in the community here in Lincoln, Nebraska and being closer to her family.  Dr. O\u2019Connor is excited to work with your dogs and cats as well as your furry pocket pets!  Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being a part of the human-animal bond between her clients and their pets and treating each pet as a part of the family.  Dr. O\u2019Connor\u2019s professional interests include primary and preventative care, pocket pet medicine, and dermatology. Outside of work, you can find her running and being outdoors, enjoying a good cup of coffee and surrounded by family and friends. Dr. O\u2019Connor is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and plans to become a part of the local Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Veterinary Science in 2021, she moved to Columbia, Missouri to continue her education. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Mizzou in 2025.<br \/><br \/>\r\n\r\nDr. Holz is enthusiastic about learning and strives to further her knowledge of veterinary medicine throughout her career. She has special interests in small animal primary care, preventative medicine, and surgery. Dr. Holz looks forward to working with you to provide the best care possible, customized to your pets\u2019 needs.<br \/><br \/>\r\n\r\nDr. Holz married her high-school sweetheart, Dillon, and together they have a chocolate lab named Maple, and a cat named Mozart.
