Notice for Boarding Clients
To keep our boarding facility safe and healthy, we are introducing a new vaccination requirement. Starting May 1, 2025 all boarding pets must have a current leptospirosis vaccine.
We’re providing ample notice to give our valued clients time to get their pets vaccinated and boosted.
Please schedule an appointment for the leptospirosis vaccine if your pet boards with us and is not vaccinated. You will also need to complete the booster shot within the recommended timeline.

Pet Boarding

Our state of the art lodge features the best pet boarding accommodations around! All boarding pets will be exercised frequently, fed a healthy diet (or the food can be brought from home) and receive personalized attention throughout their stay.
At CareVet of Goldsboro Pet Resort, we offer several upgrades for pets while they are boarding, including baths, VIP packages, anal gland expressions, and daycare packages. Below you will find our boarding forms, one for dogs and one for cats. To save time, feel free to print and fill these out before arriving to drop off your pets. Prices of each service are listed within these documents as well.
Lodge Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
For any pick-ups or drop offs outside of these hours there is an Out of Office fee.

We do not offer any grooming services (hair trimming/cutting, etc.).
We are not currently offering any bathing services for pets that are not overnight boarding for at least 2 nights.
Bathing services are provided the day before the pet is picked up from their overnight stays.
If a client calls the day before their scheduled pick-up to notify us that they will be picking up their pet one day earlier than originally planned, any requested bathing services may not be able to be provided due to insufficient time for bathing and drying.
