Dr. Delgado
DVM - Medical Director
Dr. Delgado brings a deep passion for veterinary medicine and a strong connection to the Franklin-Carlisle community. Originally from Vandalia, Ohio, she has been practicing in Cincinnati since 2014 and is excited to be closer to family in this new chapter of her career.
Education & Professional Interests
Dr. Delgado earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Findlay in 2010 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Over the years, she has developed special interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and functional nutrition, allowing her to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to her patients.
Life Beyond the Clinic
When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Delgado enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and their daughter, Caliopy. Together, they love exploring new places, trying different cuisines, and engaging in creative projects. Their home is shared with two rescue dogs, Ophelia and Georgia, a sweet rescue cat named Stacy, and a Russian tortoise named Penny.
Dr. Christopher Mapes
DVM - Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Christopher Mapes is a dedicated veterinarian with a strong background in public health and client education. Originally from northeast Indiana near the Michigan and Ohio borders, he brings a well-rounded approach to veterinary medicine, emphasizing preventive care and zoonotic disease management.
Education & Professional Interests
Dr. Mapes attended Purdue University for both his undergraduate studies and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. In addition to his veterinary training, he pursued studies in public health through the University of Minnesota. His professional interests include client education and zoonotic disease management, ensuring pet owners are well-informed about their pets' health and the connection between animal and human well-being.
Life Outside the Clinic
When he's not in the office, Dr. Mapes enjoys hiking, reading, and playing board games. Whether exploring nature trails or strategizing over a board game, and values time spent learning and engaging with friends and family.
Dr. Alexandra Voytko
DVM - Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Alexandra Voytko is a compassionate veterinarian with a special interest in ultrasound and internal medicine. Originally from North Ridgeville, Ohio, she provides thorough and personalized care for her patients.
Education & Professional Interests
Dr. Voytko attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Illinois in 2023. She is particularly interested in ultrasound diagnostics and internal medicine, using advanced techniques to diagnose and manage complex medical cases.
Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Dr. Voytko enjoys reading, playing video games, birdwatching, and hiking. Whether immersed in a good book or exploring the outdoors, she loves activities that challenge her mind and connect her with nature.
Dr. Kayla Orso
DVM
Dr. Kayla Orso is a passionate veterinarian with a focus on preventative medicine, dermatology, and the "One Health" approach. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she is dedicated to solving medical mysteries and providing comprehensive care that benefits both pets and their families.
Education & Professional Interests
Dr. Orso earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master’s in Veterinary Public Health (MPH-VPH) from The Ohio State University. Her professional interests include dermatology, behavior, nutrition, and preventative care. She is particularly passionate about the "One Health" philosophy—practicing medicine that considers the connection between humans, animals, and the environment—and takes pride in educating clients during new puppy and kitten visits as well as managing complex allergy cases.
Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Dr. Orso enjoys exploring Cincinnati, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending quality time with her fiancé and sister. She shares her home with a lively group of pets: three cats—Luna, Luxor, and Friday the 13th—two Dalmatians, Iris and Lotus, and a Husky named Xilo.
Angie
Hospital Manager
Angie comes to CareVet with more than 20 years of leadership experience, including the last six years in the medical field. Veterinary medicine is by far her favorite, as she is a passionate advocate for both beloved fur babies and wild critters! Having had pets of all shapes and sizes throughout her life, Angie is excited to join the amazing, dedicated team at CareVet of Middletown and to become part of each pet’s journey toward a long, healthy, and happy life. She can’t wait to meet you!
Allie
Registered Veterinary Technician
Allie graduated from Sinclair Community College with her Associate’s degree in Applied Health Sciences of Veterinary Technology in 2022, and became a registered technician in the same year. She has been in veterinary medicine since 2021 and has previous experience in exotic pet medicine and current experience in wildlife medicine. She is currently in school through Oregon State University’s eCampus obtaining her Bachelors degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences.

Registered Veterinary Technician
I have been in veterinary medicine for over 10 years and have experience with both standard and emergency care. I have been at this clinic since December of 2024. My pets include a dog, 4 cats, a parrot, and a bearded dragon.

Veterinary Assistant
I’ve been in vet med for over 7 years and have been with CareVet for 6 years. I love hiking & being outdoors in my free time, so I have 4 herding breed dogs who all love to do those things with me. I also have a cat that is harness trained and loves to go on walks with us!

Been in Vet Med for going on 7 years. Momma to 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, a guinea pig and a gecko.

Been in vet med for 4.5 years. Been with CareVet for 2 years. Special interests include neonatal care for puppies and kittens who need extra help, animal rescue, and fostering. I’ve fostered 125+ animals in 3 years!

I have been in veterinary medicine since 2014. I have been with CareVet of Middletown since 2017. I love being in surgery and placing iv catheters.

A little bit about myself. I've always been an animal lover since I was little, my dream job was to work in a vet clinic. I enjoy spending time and caring for my pets at home, as well as spending time with family and friends. A fun fact about me, I've been a pescatarian for almost 8 years.
I have been at CareVet for almost 3 years now. I love my job, my amazing coworkers and especially the animals!
Conni
Inventory Specialist
Conni graduated in 1994 from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor degree in Education. After establishing M.A.R.X. ( a low cost spay neuter non-profit) in 2002 with her husband, Jim, Connie felt drawn towards veterinary medicine. In March of 2006 Conni was hired by Drs. Krebs, Kohler and Minnix as a receptionist. Over the last 20 years she has progressed from CSR to Veterinary Assistant to Surgery Assistant to Inventory Manager. She has watched the practice advance and grow from the former to KKM Vet Clinic to CareVet of Middletown. As a lifelong resident of Middletown, Conni enjoys seeing old friends and neighbors and long time clients.
In her down time she enjoys hanging out with Jim and their 6 cats, reading, watching movies and working on expanding her pollinating garden.

Hi, my name is Trouble and I work hard at keeping all the staff in line. I use my extra sweet loving nature to make sure they spoil me every day. It is a full-time job making sure that every staff member gives me treats and loves on me every day. I like to think that I bring them joy though as my thanks for their care. I’m rather famous on their Facebook page with my poses.
