Dr. Patia Hargreaves<\/h2>\r\n

Medical Director<\/h3>\r\n

Dr. Patia Hargreaves, DVM joined PVPH in 2015. She grew up in the Midwest showing dogs and horses and has resided in Minnetrista since 2004 with her husband and four children.

\r\n\r\nDr. Hargreaves received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 1993 while her husband was on active duty in Army Aviation. She attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Dr. Hargreaves' professional interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, geriatric medicine and preventative medicine.

\r\n\r\nDr. Hargreaves is a member of numerous professional and community organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, and the Westonka PTA.

\r\n\r\nIn her free time, Dr. Hargreaves enjoys traveling, watching her kids play numerous different sports, and spending time on the lake. She shares her home with Maverick, a yellow labrador, Raider, a black labrador, Babes, a chinchilla and Izzy her senior cat.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n

Dr. Brodie Owens<\/h2>\r\n

Veterinarian<\/h3>\r\n

Dr. Brodie Owens graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2002. She practiced in the western suburbs of Minneapolis until 2019 when a job opportunity for her husband had the family relocate to Austin, Texas. They moved back in 2022 (not because they missed winter!).

\r\n\r\nDr. Owens, like many others, was drawn to the field of veterinary medicine due to a lifetime love of animals. However, she has found that she enjoys establishing relations with her clients as well as their pets. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and pain management.

\r\n\r\nDr. Owens and her husband stay busy with two teenage daughters. They share their house with three dogs (one chocolate lab and two pugs) and three guinea pigs.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Dr. Clairie Ries<\/h2>\r\n

Veterinarian<\/h3>\r\n

Dr. Clairissa Ries is a compassionate veterinarian at CareVet Prairie Village Pet Hospital, where she brings both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to patient and client care. A Minnesota native, Dr. Ries grew up in Shakopee and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin\u2013River Falls before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota in 2026.\r\n

\r\nDr. Ries has a strong interest in behavior, hospice care, nutrition, reproduction, and preventative medicine, reflecting her dedication to supporting pets through every stage of life.\r\n

\r\nBefore becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Ries worked for several years at CareVet Prairie Village Pet Hospital as an assistant, making her a familiar and trusted face for many clients. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking and walking with her dog, Crystal, cooking and baking, gardening, reading with her cats Doc and Odie, caring for her backyard chickens, and spending summer evenings enjoying live country music.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Kelley<\/h2>\r\n

Veterinary Technician<\/h3>\r\n

She's our unique conversationalist and \"go-to\" veterinary technician, especially when it comes to surgery and dental procedures. She has been with us since 2006 and is also certified in ultrasonography. Kelley and her husband Michael have four papillons named Lexus, Bentley, Gucci, and Hamms. Kelley is a 2005 graduate of Argosy University.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n

Jamila<\/h2>\r\n

Certified Veterinary Technician<\/h3>\r\n

Jamila is a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with a passion for feline medicine and pet care. Since beginning her career in 2003 and joining PVPH in 2005, she has excelled in providing exceptional veterinary services. Outside of work, Jamila enjoys reading, gardening, and cherishing moments with her husband and two children. With two beloved cats at home, she also extends her love for animals through pet-sitting services for many of PVPH's clients, embodying her commitment to animal welfare and compassionate care.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n

Willow is a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with a passion for labwork and diagnostics. Since beginning her career in 2006, she has amassed extensive experience in veterinary medicine. Willow joined our team in 2024, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm for precise and detailed work. Outside of the clinic, she cherishes quality time with her family and friends, indulging in meaningful moments beyond the lab coat. Willow's commitment to both her professional endeavors and personal connections reflects her balanced approach to life.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n

Alyssa<\/h2>\r\n

Veterinary Technician<\/h3>\r\n

She is strong for her size and hardworking; Alyssa started as a kennel assistant in 2014 while pursuing her veterinary technician degree from Minnesota School of Business and graduated in 2015. She continued her career here as one of our more dedicated and reliable animal caretakers. After hours, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Chris, and her daughter, Aurora. Alyssa has a German shepherd mix named Kita and two cats named Mittens and Char.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n

Lindsey<\/h2>\r\n

Veterinary Technician<\/h3>\r\n

Lindsey joined the PVPH family in March 2019. She has always had a love for all animals, big and small, her entire life. She enjoys making friends with each pet that comes into the clinic. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys exploring the great outdoors, tending to her plants, reading, and walking her dog Luther and doting on her cats Zeppelin and Seger. She has two children, Jocelyn and Logan.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Gibbs<\/h2>\r\n

The Clinic Cat<\/h3>\r\n

Gibbs was brought to PVPH in September 2018 as a stray kitten. After unsuccessfully trying to locate a previous owner, Gibbs became the clinic cat. He enjoys treats, naps, and playing with the pets as they visit the clinic. He even knows how to sit and shake! Gibbs is very fashion forward and has an impressive collection of bow ties. In true cat style, he is also a little mischievous and will knock liquids over, explore high places, and steal your food!
