Dr. Chris DeWitt

Dr. Chris DeWitt graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine after first obtaining a BS in Biology. During school, he worked with the Zoo department and the Budweiser Clydesdales at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Dr. Chris’s father was an Army Artillery officer, and his mom graduated from Newport News High School, and they are now retired in Seaford. He enjoys any type of surgery or dental procedure, as well as working with birds, reptiles and pocket pets. In addition to keeping up with his two daughters and numerous pets, Dr. Chris keeps busy with gardening, Volkswagen repair and home restoration.

Dr. Todd Harrell

I’m Dr. Todd Harrell and I’m excited to be joining the team at CareVet of Williamsburg. I grew up in South Georgia, graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary medicine, and have been practicing medicine for more than 20 years in Colorado and Virginia.

One of the things I enjoy most about my job is forming lasting relationships with families and their pets. My goal is to build a partnership with my clients and create the best healthcare plans for their dogs and cats. I hope that people will see me as their “other family doctor.”

I am married to my wonderful wife, Heather, and we are blessed with four children – Caleb, Addie, Ella, and Hannah. When not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, serving in my church, roasting coffee, growing vegetables and fig trees, and smoking delicious food on my pit.
