She graduated from the University of South Carolina and went on to attend and graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, magna cum laude. She has 2 children, Daniel and Rachel, who are her life. In addition, she enjoys spending time with her 7 cats(!) and updating her home. She is an avid sports fan, following college football, college basketball, the NBA and WNBA. But beware: she is a Clemson fan!

Dr. Fields joined Winder Corners in January 2000 as the Cobbs' first associate. She left in 2009 to work closer to her home in Madison County when her children were small, but has been back since 2018. When she came back, she brought in acupuncture as another treatment modality, especially for orthopedic conditions such as back problems and arthritis.

Dr. Fields has a passion for making CareVet of Winder the best practice in the area. She wants everyone to feel taken care of and welcome. Although there have been lots of changes, she is confident in the direction the clinic is headed, with an amazing, caring, well-skilled staff and caring, competent veterinarians to lead the clinic into the changing landscape of veterinary medicine. And there is nothing we value more than healthy pets AND happy pet parents!

Dr. Nicole Johnston

DVM

Dr. Nicole Johnston is a dedicated veterinarian at Winder Corners Animal Clinic with a passion for compassionate, high-quality care for companion animals.
