Dr. Ellen Baillie
Veterinarian
Dr. Ellen Baillie is passionate about creating positive, low-stress veterinary experiences for pets and the people who love them. She earned her undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley University before attending North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2024.
Her professional interests include Fear Free and stress-management techniques, behavior, nutrition, and feline medicine. Drawing on her experience working with zoo animals before veterinary school, Dr. Baillie has seen firsthand how training and positive interactions can make medical care less stressful—even for large, potentially dangerous animals. She enjoys applying those lessons to companion animals, helping pets become more comfortable with everything from nail trims to physical exams. She is particularly passionate about feline medicine and believes cats can benefit greatly from thoughtful, individualized approaches to care.
Dr. Baillie also enjoys educating clients and making complex medical information easier to understand. She is committed to continued learning and looks forward to further developing her skills in surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, and exotic animal medicine.
Originally from Avella, Pennsylvania, a small agricultural community west of Pittsburgh, Dr. Baillie enjoys watercolor painting, sketching, crocheting, and playing puzzle and fantasy video games in her free time.
Dr. Baillie is excited to join our team at Brookville Animal Hospital and looks forward to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at every visit.
