Dr. Lauren Jones, V.M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Lauren Jones grew up in central Pennsylvania and earned a B.S. in Biology from Lebanon Valley College. She then pursued her passion for animal health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2011.
Currently residing in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, three children, one dog, two cats, and a tank of fish, Dr. Jones is deeply committed to ensuring the well-being of pets throughout all stages of their lives. She takes great pride in offering comprehensive care, focusing on preventative health and wellness strategies to help pets lead long, happy lives. With a lifelong love of animals, Dr. Jones is dedicated to supporting pet owners in maintaining the health and happiness of their furry companions.
Dr. Chaney Daum
Veterinarian
Dr. Chaney Daum is an associate veterinarian at CareVet of Newport Pike. She has known she wanted to become a veterinarian since she was a little girl. She started by volunteering for a cat rescue at a young age and worked as a veterinary assistant at the local clinic throughout high school and college. Dr. Daum received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a minor in Nutrition from Rutgers University. She went on to earn her Veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2011. She currently resides in the Delaware Valley with her husband, 2 children, and 2 cats named Capilano and Kitsilano. She enjoys reading, arts and crafts, and visiting unique stationary stores during her travels.
Dr. Egger
Veterinarian
Dr. Egger is a dedicated veterinarian with a deep love for both dogs and cats and a strong commitment to improving the lives of her patients and their families. She shares her home with her husband and their beloved senior dog, Molly. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places, which fuels her appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
Her professional interests include both preventive medicine for young pets and specialized care for senior pets. She loves meeting all of the new furry family members! She believes that the foundation for a lifetime of health begins in those first few months, and she takes pride in guiding new pet owners through every stage of their young companion’s development. From first vaccinations to nutrition, behavior, and socialization, Dr. Egger is dedicated to making each visit a positive and educational experience. Her gentle approach helps puppies and kittens feel safe and comfortable, setting the stage for stress-free veterinary visits throughout their lives.
Dr. Egger is equally passionate about senior pet care. She understands that senior pets have unique needs and takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to managing age-related conditions, mobility changes, and overall quality of life. Her goal is to ensure each of her senior patients can enjoy their later years with dignity and ease. She works closely with pet owners to help navigate difficult decisions and shows compassion through every step of their journey.
