Dr. Jillian VanderYacht
DVM
Dr. Jillian VanderYacht is a small-animal veterinarian originally from Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. She has experience in both medical and surgical cases and has a particular interest in surgery.
She focuses on clear communication and practical care plans, with an emphasis on patient comfort and supporting clients in everyday decision-making for their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. VanderYacht enjoys spending time with her husband, twin daughters, and younger son. She likes being outdoors, baking (especially sourdough), and keeping bees.

Michele
LVT
Michele earned her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree from SUNY Delhi, and has been working at the CareVet Nottingham Pet Clinic since 1990. Her interests include rollerskating, riding her motorcycle, and the Syracuse restaurant scene. She and her husband have a son and new daughter-in-law.
Kayli
LVT
Kayli graduated from Brown Mackie College in Ohio as a licensed veterinary technician and has worked for NPC since 2013. She and her husband have a cat and a hermit crab. Her hobbies include photography, hiking and fishing.
Melissa McFarland
Practice Manager
Melissa McFarland has worked for our practice since 2015, first as an assistant/receptionist and now as practice manager. She has veterinary certifications from Washington State and has a dog and a cat. Her interests include travel, writing and gemology.
Sarah J
Assistant / Receptionist
Sarah J has been working in the veterinary field since 2014 and joined the NPC family in May 2019. She lives with her 2 dogs, Piper, a terrier mix, and Paige, a Shih tzu.
