Meet the Panelists

Dr. Brandon Thornberry

Dr. Brandon, a St. Louis native and lifelong veterinary enthusiast, earned his DVM from the University of Missouri and completed a medical device innovation fellowship. He brings experience from emergency and relief work across 20 hospitals and joined CareVet in 2022 as a Clinical Operations Veterinarian. He is especially passionate about supporting new graduate veterinarians, helping them build confidence and find the guidance they need as they begin their careers.

Dr. Jessica Delgado

Dr. Delgado brings a deep passion for veterinary medicine and a strong connection to the Franklin-Carlisle community. Originally from Vandalia, Ohio, she has been practicing in Cincinnati since 2014 and is excited to be closer to family in this new chapter of her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Findlay in 2010 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Over the years, she has developed special interests in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and functional nutrition, allowing her to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to her patients. Outside the clinic, Dr. Delgado enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and their daughter, Caliopy, exploring new places, trying different cuisines, and taking on creative projects. Their home is filled with the joy of two rescue dogs, Ophelia and Georgia, a sweet rescue cat named Stacy, and a Russian tortoise named Penny.

Dr. Zack Talbert

Dr. Zack Talbert grew up in rural Armington, IL. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2016. He then received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2021. Dr. Talbert lives with his wife, Elizabeth, in Atlanta, IL. Together, they have a Bernedoodle named Remington. Dr. Talbert enjoys being in the outdoors, exercising, spending time with family, and inventing new products for the veterinary industry.
